Once upon a time, in a magical land called Orlando, two local developers decided to join forces and make the best indie games the world had ever seen. The result? Terncraft Games.
Hello, everyone. This is David J. Sushil from Bad Pilcrow. I’m happy to announce that Terncraft is a thing now. A real, legitimate thing, woohoo! We even have a game that’s almost available for you to play. But let’s back up for a second and cover some of the things you missed before you realized that Terncraft is an actual thing. (A genuine, utterly cool thing.)
A few years ago, I was introduced to Joe Adams (the man behind Adam Jones Productions), a game developer here in Orlando who found success with a game called Word Drop. We became friends, and over the years, we toyed around with the idea of collaborating on games together. Finally, in April of this year, we pulled the trigger, and founded Terncraft as an outlet for our joint ventures.
Based on lessons learned from development on my own indie games (Vanessa Saint-Pierre Delacroix & Her Nightmare and Not Without You), I built a pretty sweet piece of tech for this studio, which will allow us to rapidly develop games for a wide variety of platforms. “But that’s nerd talk. We want games, Sushil!” OK, OK…
Our first project is called The Thieving Tower. It’s a slingshot platform game in which the player controls a thief stealing jewels from an unending tower of riches. There’s also a princess-themed romantic subplot. And skulls. Intrigued? We hope so! It’ll be out very, very soon, and we’ll be writing all about it here on our blog.
You should also check out our Facebook page, our Twitter feed, and our Google+… place. Those are cool too. So tell all your friends: Terncraft Games is a thing and they should know about it. Hooray for cool, indie things!
